iOS Functions in Swift Adding Power to Functions Returning Complex Values

why there's error in this?

why there's error when I paste the code from the project files on the website to my own Xcode playground?

let areaOfRoom = area(length: length, width: width)

the description of the error: Use of unresolved identifier 'area'

It is tough to diagnose the error without the rest of your code. Also please view the markdown cheatsheet to make you code more readable

thank you Jeff! later I found out that the " area" hasn't been defined. that's why the error appeared!
