Why was the colon erased in the first comment?

Just wondering if it is needed.

You need to elaborate. We dont have time to watch the whole video. Please copy the statement or the code where colon was erased and place it in the discussion so we can see it.

In the video the instructor changed the comment from the general one originally contained in the playground, to:

// variables

so that he could be organised in a way that allowed a later portion of the editor to be sectioned off as:

// constants

So Evan is asking if the colon in the original comment was there for some functional reason.
