Why we add CSS stylesheet in html <head> tag? why not <body> tag? can someone please explain why we need CSS stylesheet in HTML

you want the css in the head tag because you want the browser to reference the style sheet before the html. By doing this the browser will reference the stylesheet first and add this to your html when the page loads.
