Windows 10 cannot install Treehouse VM nor Ruby files

I have been trying for awhile now to install Ruby on Rails on Windows 10 but it just wont allow me. Then I try getting the Treehouse VM working and that doesn't work, I am in a bad pickle right now and I am eager for some help.

First off Ruby has been known to not play well with Windows so looking into using a Linux partition would be really helpful.

Secondly have you tried using rubyinstaller? They have a Windows compatible one and will add in rails as well.

If that doesn't work I would highly recommend getting Linux and using that for your Ruby dev machine.
