Well I want to make some IOS application and I was wondering if I need a macbook to do so?

Hey Olivia Posey,

Yes. Unfortunately the minimum requirement for developing for iOS is a Mac. There are some other solutions such as running the Mac OS on a virtual machine but it's not the friendliest solution. You should try to pick up a cheap used one or a refurbished Apple product. You can also dive right in and buy a more expensive/new model. As long as you stay dedicated it will be a great investment.
