HTML How to Make a Website Creating HTML Content Build the Footer

Wondering why we don't need to add a <ul> tags to include the social icons in the footer?

Up until this point I figured we need to use these tags whenever we include a "list" of items, such as the navigation and gallery. So why not now. Is it because we won't need to style these therefore, there's no need to wrap them inside the unordered list tag? #confused #newtothis

Can you post the markup LORENA DI ROCCO ? it's not good semantic HTML to omit the <ul> tag so I'm guessing something else is going on here.

They can still be styled irrespective of being in <ul> tags. Its probably just a personal preference not to use <ul> there.
