I was wondering if once you install wordpress and you follow the step by step rule, can you just do your own wordpress website rather than the example given? And where will i be able to learn to add page, etc as the admin.

6,511 PointsOf course, there's no reason you can't. As long as you have access to the backend (FTP access and DB) you'll be fine.

6,511 PointsI would recommend Adam's advice on holding out until you finish it there. Saves you a couple bucks and you can take as long as you need.
