wordpress.org or .com for affiliate marketing?

So, I am thinking of affiliate marketing by establishing my site.

For affiliate marketing as well as Google Adsense advertisements, should I establish my site with wordpress.org or wordpress.com?

You should go with WordPress.org in my opinion. You'll have way more control over customizing what your site does and you won't be restricted to the limits of WordPress.com sites.

As Colin said, WordPress.org will allow you a lot more control, and you'll also be able to install any plugin you want (unlike WordPress.com).

If you're still looking for an affiliate marketing plugin check out AffiliateWP (https://affiliatewp.com) . Disclaimer, I'm a co-author of the plugin. You can get a special discount from the student perks page: https://teamtreehouse.com/perks#perk-562
