I have followed step by step but my div is not centering. I am using chrome for browser.

658 Pointsyes when i reviewed the link in my question I noticed this too, so i went back and ctrl+S the index.html file and it fixed it. Evidently you must save changes separately on the css files and html files.

to those having issues with the div working correctly, make sure that you have saved on both the css and index tabs. that was my issue.
