I have xammp installed on my system, do i require to install filezilla as stand-alone or use xammp?

15,645 PointsYou need the stand-alone FileZilla install. The one included with XAMPP is for your local server to accept FTP connections.
The stand-alone FileZilla download is the client (not server) part which has a graphical interface and allows you to send files to a server via FTP.
