3,010 PointsC#, asp.net and MVC
Are there any plans to offer C# training especially in the context of asp.net and especially in connection to the MVC framework? I know Ruby on Rails is fashionable at the moment but I wonder if C# will be given any air time? P.S absolutely love what you're doing here, I'm a huge fan.

Treehouse Guest TeacherI think C# and MVC would be nice additions to the Treehouse library.

I'd expect to see courses on the foundations of Python, Objective-C, Java before those.

24,828 PointsI don't understand how ASP .NET MVC and C# doesn't fit into Treehouse's niche of Web and App development. If the main focus of Treehouse is to keep students on top of current and newer technologies, than ASP .NET MVC and C# should be in the libraries too. I don't see how Python is in list while ASP .NET and C# is not. I don't know, but where I live, ASP .NET MVC and/or C# is the number one technologies requested. Personally, I would take ASP .NET MVC over RoR or Django anytime, and I think Visual Studio is the best IDE. I love Java, but I cannot stand Netbeans and Eclipse.

Treehouse Guest TeacherTotally agree with you Paolo Scamardella. .NET jobs are typically more common and often provide better pay, from my experience.

3,010 PointsThank you, just curious as to whether it was in the development pipeline. I have just taken over development built on that technology and I'm a novice developer. Treehouse has been fantastic at getting me going on the web side of things. I'm sure learning Ruby will lead to some transferable skills and there are always Microsoft tutorials...
Thank you for reply. James
