Course request: Game Development

A course I would really like to see in Treehouse would be game development. Starting by learning a programming language used commonly for game development such as C++ or C#, then game design, then an engine.

There aren't many high quality game development video series online, that's why I believe Treehouse should have a course in Game Development.

Android game development is what im really waiting for!!

I would love to take that course.

Part of me would want XNA to be covered, but XNA is pretty much dead.

Count me in

Would be awesome to have, dont know if they will do it though since I dont believe you can create games on using a mac.

The easiest option would be to create a short course that shows how to program a game using HTML CSS and JavaScript. A PhoneGap tutorial would be pretty cool too.

@Randy Hoyt has an awesome presentation about creating a simple game using HTML and JavaScript. I'll forward this post to him and see if he has any materials he can link to in here.

I would also love a game development course. My preference goes to HTML5/Javascript. I have a background in Flash AS 3.0, would be great to learn how to make 'browser games' with modern cross browser technologies.

Seb Lee would be a great addition to Treehouse! :D http://seb.ly

code by using Unity engine and create assets with autodesk maya. coding by using java, C++, C#. engine would include unity, unreal, and many others.

Build a course layout so we know how to make a game from start to finish and get it to market, marketing and brand awareness would be awesome for indie developers. like how to make sprites, game music, assets, level design, the whole shebang!

OMG I would probably watch the course a few times just to soak everything it, i know a ton of people who would kill for a good game development tutor. What i really wish you'd teach is something we can later use in game engines like unity and XNA, So i guess a good game dev c# course would be awesome.

I'd love this course! I'm thinking that it would be a cool course if they used Cryengine, UDK, Unity, or even jMonkeyEngine3 since it runs Java!
