Tree House is Built on ?

i would like to know tree house website is built on ruby or php ?

I know html/css/ javascript i want to learn backend and create a dynamic website i am confused which one i should choose. I have seen online that ruby is little difficult to deploy. so which one do you guys think will be good and easy and fast to learn?

Please share your experiences about whether you built any websites after taking course in tree house if yes please share the link.

I'd say learn both! Now which one first? What is your goal? In the job market, there seems to be a lot more PHP positions than there is RoR, but part of that could be the age of each language. I do believe RoR is a much newer technology. So maybe scope out potential employers and see what skillset they are desiring. Focus there.

If you're thinking more free-lance or self employed, I'd learn the basics of both, see which one you enjoy more, and focus on mastering that one first. Come back to the second one later.

It can never hurt to learn both. There are other options too, like Python, ASP, etc.

That's may advice, however I do not find backend development to fit my interest as much as I do front end. I do respect those who really do nail down the server side stuff though!
