it happens to me all the time ( only if i hit the spacebar or i click the anywhere on the screen) i'm using chrome (36.0.1985.143) and windows 7 ultimate on a 64 bit operating system

It normally happens when you click pause on the actual video (not the play/pause button) and then click on the screen again. It will play from the beginning. But when you click the actual play/pause button to pause the video and then click the actual video it will play from where you left off and from then on you can click the video or the play/pause button to play and pause to your hearts content without it starting over. Must be a weird glitch.

That happened to me when I used Safari on my Mac. I tried Chrome on my Mac and the glitch stopped. The videos only seem to work right on Chrome for some reason.

Its actually kinda annoying. If you want to develop your abilities using keyboard short cuts you can't. Every time you want to un-pause the video it restarts forcing you to use the mouse to pick up where you paused during the video.

As Jamie Nardini said, Always initiate the first pause on the progbar.

Most of my video playback issues stopped when I started using FireFox. I would recommend it to anyone.

There is still one glitch. Before a video starts playing it will act as if paused. I will have to pause it and unpause it and then it starts playing fine. A strange glitch, but not very distracting and easy to solve.

I also recommend clicking on the video download link as the bottom of the video. Before I downloaded FireFox, this was my best solution to constant playback issues. If you have a fast computer and internet connection, the videos pop right up in Windows Media Player as if they were streaming!

I highly recommend this as a temporary or permanent solution for anyone having major streaming issues here.
