Support Developer

Overview

We’re looking for a junior developer to assist the Customer Support and Development teams at Treehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Finding, identifying, and correcting bugs that students come across.
  • Develop new administrative features for the Customer Support team to better serve our students.
  • Handling technical support tickets. You might need to update production data or figure out browser quirks preventing page loads.

Qualifications

  • A passion for helping others in need of technical help. You might be keeping a copy of β€œHow to Win Friends and Influence People” at your desk.
  • Great writing and communication skills. You can clearly and quickly get ideas across to the team and students needing help.
  • Development background. Particularly working with Ruby, HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Some bugs are tricky to find and debug.
