Running a Usability Study
Now that we’ve discussed how to prepare for a usability test, it’s time to learn how to run one. Here, we’ll observe a study in action and use it to discuss best practices and techniques. We’ll then begin to analyze the results and present strategies on how to write up a strong report. We’ll conclude with an overview of guerilla testing, a closely-related research method used during extremely tight timelines.
9 stepsQuantitative Methods
Once your product is live, you can continue to measure the effectiveness of your chosen design, discover just how people actually achieve their desired goals on your site, and test out alternatives in real-time.
