About this Workshop

In this workshop, students are introduced to fundamental Computer Science (CS) concepts. This workshop unpacks the history of computer science, defines key terms, and identifies common elements across multiple disciplines. After completion, students move forward to foundational workshops in User Experience (UX), Front End Web Development (FEWD), Full Stack JavaScript (FSJS), and Python.

Teacher

  • Richard Tillies

    Richard Tillies, aka "Professor T", is an accomplished educator with nearly 20 years of classroom teaching experience in computer science, information technology, and mathematics. Outside of teaching, he is a certified kickboxing trainer who can also perform a backflip and solve a Rubik's Cube (though not at the same time).
