Sample Front End Web Developer job description

TechLand is looking for a Junior Front End Web Developer to create and maintain customer facing websites. This is an entry-level position. While we do not require a certain number of years of experience, we do require a portfolio and work samples at the time of application.

What you’ll be doing

Develop functional and appealing responsive website experiences Provide website maintenance and enhancements Use a combination of markup languages to create web pages Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting

Requirements:

Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript Basic working knowledge of version control with Git Understanding of the principles of responsive design Basic knowledge of Photoshop or Illustrator Continually learning and staying up-to-date on emerging technologies Self-motivated with excellent analytical skills Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues

Nice to Have:

Working knowledge of PHP/MySQL Experience working with CSS preprocessors like Sass & Less CSS Animations
