gradle sync error

it says :Could not find any version that matches com.android.support:appcompat-v7:29.+.

I pressed the rebuild project button, made sure i was on the default gradle warper (and lated changed that to the new 5.6.2) and also deletet the project and created a new one , in adition a made sure i had instaled the android support repository and downloded the newest gradel version (5.6.2).

How can i fix this? and what is the problem in general?
