It's not stated whether to use the Ruby command prompt in Windows or to use the cmd prompt. doesn't work on either.

cd (filepath) just returns as though I hit carriage return. Any Idea why it wouldn't be taking the command?

Oh I see. you have to do it in two commands if your default path is on a different drive from the site's folder's path.

So I start the ruby cmd promt: "c:/default/otherfolder" so i have to change drive - "e: " gives me "e:/XAMPP" then it's "cd e:/XAMPP/htdocs/lake-tahoe"

and you win life.
