Restrict Origin to one domain.

I am trying to restrict the API to be used with only one domain, that of which I deployed to Heroku, The documentation says and the video suggestions I should be able to just insert my URL in place of the asterisk, but this isn't working. I'm using a different API, but the headers are the same and it works fine with the asterisk. Is there an extra step I'm missing when trying to do this? Both apps are running on Heroku, and work fine with the wild card.
