Bummer! Please make sure you leave your printf statement intact

I am working on the third challenge on the strings and variables lesson. my code is the following:

String firstName = "frank"; console.printf ("%s can code in Java!", firstName);

When i submit the code it tells gives me the following error: "Bummer! Please make sure you leave your printf statement intact"

I have not touched the console.printf line and only modified the String firstName portion. Is this some sort of system error or am I missing something?

Name.java
// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named console
String firstName = "frank";
console.printf ("%s can code in Java!", firstName);

Hi Jason,

While it doesn't technically matter is Java, the code checker doesn't like the space you have between the method name and the opening parenthesis. Just delete the space and the code passes.

console.printf("%s can code in Java!", firstName); // no space

Keep Coding! :dizzy:
