iOS Swift 2.0 Basics Swift Operators Working With Operators: Part 2

let isWinner = !10 isWinner = totalScore How does this not work?

let isWinner = !10

isWinner = totalScore

How does this not work

operators2.swift
// Enter your code below

var initialScore = 8

let totalScore = ++initialScore

initialScore = totalScore

let isWinner = !10

isWinner = totalScore

Thanks Everyone. The issue came down to having the "not" operator working with a type "INT" and it wasn't clear what I should have done from the video example. instead of !10 it needed to be != 10

Hi Craig,

Changing the '!10' to '!= 10' will still not solve this challenge, you still need to check against the totalScore.

Hi Craig,

isWinner becomes true if 'totalScore' is not equal to 10, otherwise false... try

// Enter your code below

var initialScore = 8

let totalScore = ++initialScore

let isWinner = totalScore != 10
