Java Java Data Structures Getting There Packages

" Now in the main method of Display.java, instantiate a new BlogPost. " Not sure what this means

Now in the main method of Display.java, instantiate a new BlogPost. Use System.out.printf to print out "This is a blog post: %s" and pass in the newly created BlogPost object to replace the string formatter.

what does this mean and what exactly is this doing?

com/example/BlogPost.java
package com.example;

public class BlogPost {

}
Display.java
import com.example.BlogPost;
public class Display {
  public static void main(String[] args) {
   System.out.printf("This is a blog post: %s");

  }
}

Hi Ovadia,

To instantiate means to create a new instance (a new object) of a class. In other words, you'll want to create a BlogPost object. In this task, you then need to print out its name using %s (extra fun fact: %s is an example of what is called a token.)

import com.example.BlogPost;

public class Display {
  public static void main(String[] args) {
    // Your code here...
    BlogPost sampleBlog = new BlogPost(); // using the 'new' keyword' to create an object of the BlogPost class
    System.out.printf("This is a blog post: %s", sampleBlog);
  }
}

Hope this helps!
