Hello Devon, The third step is working fine, maybe u did something wrong when answering the question. This is the correct code for all 4 steps of the challenge

@media (min-width: 611px) {

    /* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
   /*first step*/
  .main-nav {
    display: flex;
  }
   /*second step*/
  .main-nav li {
    flex-grow: 1;
  }
   /*third step*/
  .content-row {
    display: flex;
  }
    /*fourth step*/
  .secondary {
    order: -1;
  }
}

In the 3rd step I seletected the content-row class and set its flex formatting context by giving its display property the value 'flex'. If i managed to help u, mark my answer as the best
