C# Entity Framework Basics Extending Our Entity Data Model Defining and Using a One-to-Many Relationship

A default constructor that initializes the Courses property to an instance of List<Course>

I have been stuck here for two weeks. I do not understand how to write a constructor as requested. I have been over the videos a lot. Can someone suggest a place with written instruction as to how this should be done?

Course.cs
using System.Collections.Generic;
namespace Treehouse.CodeChallenges
{
    public class Course
    {
        public int Id { get; set; }
        public int TeacherId { get; set;}
        public string Title { get; set; }
        public string Description { get; set; }
        public int Length { get; set; }
        public Teacher Teacher { get; set; }
        public ICollection<Course> Courses {get; set;}

    }
}
Teacher.cs
namespace Treehouse.CodeChallenges
{
    public class Teacher
    {
        public int Id { get; set; }
        public string FirstName { get; set; }
        public string LastName { get; set; }
    }
}

Hi Joe,

James codes an example of the constructor initializing a list in https://teamtreehouse.com/library/adding-a-onetomany-entity-relationship Pause the video at 5:27 to see the code.

Hope that helps!
