Courses Plus Student 9,828 PointsA good note taking app where you can effectively write notes and include code snippets
Does anyone know of any note taking app that easily allows plain text note taking with formatted code snippets?
I've been using evernote but I'd like a complete app dedicated to learning different programming gems.
Thanks in advance!

Courses Plus Student 45,640 PointsIf you're using a mac there's an app called Dash that allows you download docsets(documentation) and create your own snippets. I also use an app called Alfred that allows me to fetch files quickly using shortcuts. Alfred can be connected to Dash to make searching documentation very quick.

Courses Plus Student 26,868 PointsJohn Balladares Hi, There's one app that fits your need, Quip, I recently switched from Evernote to Quip, and love every minute of using it. Quip is simply amazing, it's first and foremost, a plain text editor with clean interface, yes, it able to format code block, and really simple to use. Quip also make collaboration with others on a document ridiculously easy.
Like Evernote, Quip is not tie to any OS, it's all cloud-base, it has web interface, as well as iOS and Android app.

Courses Plus Student 9,828 PointsDavid Tonge I've been using Dash for a little while but had no idea that you could store your own code snippets. I also have Alfred, so I will play around with this workflow.
Thanks a ton for the tip.
