<a> vs <link>

In HTML, what's the difference between <a> tags and <link> tags?

An <a> tag is an 'anchor' tag. It's used to link the current page to: other pages in your site, external sites, etc. Whereas the <link> tag is used to specify a relationship between your page and external resources, such as linking your HTML page to a CSS style sheet.
