General Discussion

Accessible Rich Internet Applications (WAI-ARIA)

I've just completed the Accessibility component of the Front-End Web Development track. I'm wondering why there was no discussion about Accessible Rich Internet Applications (WAI-ARIA).

It's my understanding that attributes (e.g., aria-invalid="true" or aria-hidden="true") help assistive technologies interpret the state of <form> input elements. I realize this is an introduction to accessibility, so please forgive me if this question is not appropriate.

Agreed, I found this course very underwhelming. A lot of sites are being sued for not providing accessible websites - I feel like this should be a priority topic on Treehouse.
