I am trying to access property values for the shanghai object, help please.

console.log(shanghai[latitude]);

The property name is simply the key itself.
When using literal property names as indexes, they would need to be in quotes (or use dot notation instead). But in this case, if you needed the value, you could use the key as the index.

So what you mean by using keys as index is that I must: console.log([0].population);
