JavaScript JavaScript and the DOM (Retiring) Responding to User Interaction Adding an Event Listener

Add a click event listener on the button. Pass an empty function in as the second parameter.

Need a little help. No clue what I am missing

Hi Bala,

Your curly braces need to be inside the parenthesis. Like this:

button.addEventListener('click', function(){});

Your passing the function in bad way, you have to put whole function, not just name function() as a second parameter.

Like this

button.addEventListener("click", function(){});

button.addEventListener("click", () => {

});
