Adding a new playground page

When I add a new playground page, I get a message that says (The document "Types" could not be saved. The file has been changed by another application.) It also provides me with three options which are Save As, Revert, or Save Anyway. This message pops-up everytime I start to type.

Is xCode up to date on your end? There was a recent OS update and it may need to be updated to function on the newest OS update

Hi Michael, I'm actually not using workspaces but xCode directly from my computer. It all seems to work fine until I add a second page which is when it starts to autosave everytime I start to type, and it gives me the options mentioned above. The OS has Version 10.11.5 and it was updated May 30th, so that should be ok.

Gotta say, It's a bit frustrating because I can't really focus on learning but on trying to solve this problem. but thank you for your input, I really appreciated.

No worries! I didn't realize until shortly after I posted my first response that it was for iOS development and xCode. I deleted it and posted the above response instead lol.

I am not sure if there is an option to turn off auto save in xCode's settings, but that might be something to look into
