Alternatives to Rails Installer

Hi all!

I'm new to rails. I have been taking the ruby on rails Treebook course. I had some problems with Rails Installer (lots of errors) and decided to uninstall it, and install the components separately. I installed Xcode, command line tools, RVM, ruby, rails, Homebrew, bundler, sqlite3, SM frameworks. I feel like something is missing because when I try to run "rails server" I just get a bunch of instructions about rails but no server initialisation? Thank you!

OK - figured out I was running the server in the wrong location!! I went into the Projects/Treebook folder and run "rails server" and it worked. Thank you - closing topic.
