95 PointsAm I supposed to be following along? One thing that's super unclear is if and when I'm supposed to be using workspaces.
When the instructor starts should I be launching workspace right away? I'm playing with the making a website track and all the code exercises have everything already filled out and as me to make minimal changes. I'm not sure if this is super effective for me to learn. Thoughts?

15,034 PointsHi Chad!
For me the best way to actually learn is to watch a course (or one section of it) first and then try to do the same on my own. That way you get to kind of test if you understood what you've just learned.
And whether you should be using workspaces or not is really up to you. I personally don't use workspaces that often but feel free to do whatever you feel is best for you.

Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 22,468 PointsThe How to Make a Website course was the one course so far in which I actually did follow along with the instructor in Workspaces consistently for the entire course, making modifications along the way to personalize the website for myself (I made a cake portfolio website for my home bakery, actually). :-)

95 PointsThanks guys, that helps. I could of course just have decided to do that on my own, but wanted to ask here to see what others are doing.
Treehouse and the instructors are great. I think it would be helpful though for them to emphasize the use of workspaces by saying "be sure to follow long with the video" for clarity for new folks.
Cheers!
