And after JavaScript foundations?!

Hello folks,

I've alteady done "Beginning to programming" and "Javascript foundations". After some research I think I haven't found more advanced courses on Javascript (besides the Maze's videos on OOP - but are not a course). I REALLY would like to deepen my Javascript knowledge before going to Jquery and other JS forms. It's probably the hardest away but also probably the most solid path. Is teamtreehouse thinking in release something related OR do you recommmend something?

Thanks in advance.

Regards, Sérgio

I totally understand where you're coming from. I feel the same way. I'm currently reading and working through http://eloquentjavascript.net/ there's some great stuff in the book.

Yes, David Tonge! :) I have the mentioned book with me and I paused it, before coming here, in chapter 6 - functions! :) It is really good for beginners but, I think, sometimes a little dry! :) I would like to see the similar content in videos and quizzes like here in TeamTreeHouse! :) I'm thinking that I probably should go back! :) I've signed up on code wars also but it seems difficult to me at this moment! :) Thanks for your answer.

Hi Sergio Leite, We are working on new JavaScript content, but don't let your lack of JS knowledge stop you from getting started with the jQuery Basics Course by Andrew Chalkley . It is very good introduction to jQuery and doesn't require any more JavaScript knowledge than what you learn in JavaScript Foundations.

Hello Dave,

Thanks for your comment! Of course I'll do it! :) I was just saying that I really would like to deepen (here at treeHouse) my Javascript knowledge. Have a nice day. :)

Sergio Leite I was in your shoes. This is the point where you need to start working with plugins and other webstie designs you like. Pull them apart, alter them, break them and fix them. Go on forums along the way. This is how youre going to reach that next level.

Thanks Jeremy! Just a question (probably naive!)...do you recommend any source for plugins or any path, besides the David's recommendation for the Eloquent javascript Book? Thanks

Sergio Leite I would get on http://www.greensock.com/get-started-js/# this is a greaaaat program to learn, it uses JS, it has lots of support to learn and it allows you to do some really cool animations to your web pages

Thanks! awesome! :)
