Android app Random Number

Help !!! Please suggest the right code

RandomTest.kt
import java.util.Random

public class HelloWorld {
public static void main(String[] args) {

//instantiate a new object of Random class
Random randomGenerator = new Random();

int randomInt = randomGenerator.nextInt(Ten);

System.out.println("Generated : " + randomInt);
}
}

Assuming Ten is an int variable with the value 10 assigned to it, it looks like this should work.

I just tried the challenge associated with this question and it looks like they are looking for Kotlin code not Java code. You can do it all in one line. Remember to convert to a string with the val blah = "" + number trick though.

As Chris mentioned replace the String value "Ten" with an int value like 10, 0, 1, 455, or 50. This defines the range of ints to be generated. e.g. int randomInt = randomGenerator.nextInt(10); will generate integers between 0 and 10.

It just won't compile. Error reads " random number should be string"
