Android Studio 1.0.1will not render the ‘Inbox and ‘Friends’ tab.

Question

Wondering if this is deprecated, or if there is something I am overlooking. Here is my code:

 then followed the direction:
SectionsPagerAdapter to the following:

Then in MainActivity, changing the line that sets the adapter to:

mSectionsPagerAdapter = new SectionsPagerAdapter(this,getSupportFragmentManager());

This caused me some headache as well. You are missing one small part in your code, the part that actually creates the tabs.

Add this into your OnCreate method:

for (int i = 0; i < mSectionsPagerAdapter.getCount(); i++) {
            actionBar.addTab(
                    actionBar.newTab()
                            .setText(mSectionsPagerAdapter.getPageTitle(i))
                            .setTabListener(tabListener));
        }
