Android Studio!!!

Hey my app has not yet loaded it still has the android name and the flashing light over. Do I start over from scratch? Or should i just continue since the teacher said it takes a lot of time to load?

Hey Jason!

If you're seeing that, it just means the emulator is taking a long time to load - not your app!

Your app is probably just fine (You'll find out after running it anyway) but the emulator itself takes a long time to start.

Ben will later discuss the Genymotion emulator, a third party emulator that is much faster! If you want to skip straight to it, check out the videos on Genymotion here

Hopefully this should explain things for you but if you have any more questions/problems, give me a shout :)
