Android Studio 64 for Windows.

I was having issues with compatibility between the version of Studio and the emulator. It was stating that the emulator was newer than the studio and to update. I updated the studio, now I can not get it to run because of information in the library. I uninstalled the older version of studios from my system and used the updated version. now I am getting the error code, "emulator: ERROR: x86 emulation currently requires hardware acceleration! Please ensure Intel HAXM is properly installed and usable. CPU acceleration status: HAX kernel module is not installed!." I updated and selected the Intel HAXM in the settings, but I am still receiving this error. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Emory,

I've also dealt with this problem.

Intel HAXM is a separate program that can be downloaded from here:

If your CPU supports hardware acceleration, after this installs, you should be good to go.
