animsition keeps loading when .ready() is added

Without using .ready() in the script the animsition plugin works fine. But when .ready() is added it just keeps loading for infinite. why is this?

$(function() {
      $('.animsition').animsition();
});

Hi Lewis Marshall, i think we don't need to add here the document.ready() method because; we put all js file inside our HTML pages before ending the body tag; therefore all JS files are loading after the document has been ready.
