Any tips on how I can sell my Wordpress themes for a living other then marketplaces?

ThemeForest is very competitive and they take a chunk of your sales. Does anyone have any pointers on where and how one can sell wp themes?

There are also a number of other theme marketplaces out there you could check out. I would also suggest doing some market research to see if you can cater to a specific WP niche that is lacking in premium themes.

Go and get clients and then just use your theme to build their site. That way you can charge a lot more than you'd get on ThemeForest but make clear to clients that it is a pre-built so it's a midway compromise between fully bespoke and off the shelf stuff.

I have seen folks have a lite wordpress.org version via theme repository and offer a pro version that could be an option to direct to purchase the pro version on your site. Creating your own marketplace.

They offer marketplaces I know of besides ThemeForest is: Creative Market & Mojo Themes.

I hope that helps

These are great advice thank you guys
