35,526 PointsAre online jobs (remote jobs) available for web developers?
You see, can web developers get to work from home without ever getting out of the house and joining offices like other professionals? and of course, if that's the case then how helpful is it for a student? Thanks in advance

Treehouse Moderator 32,305 PointsIt's definitely possible for web developers. I work full-time from home for an awesome company called Squiz.
There's also organisations like X-Team that pretty much only focus on remote developers.
As for being a student, you can pretty much do an entire computer science degree online and for free with the many resources that are available, in addition to the awesomeness that is Treehouse. :)

Remote work is definitely viable with many opportunities and pitfalls. And it depends on you as a person to weigh the options and evaluate where you are. In my opinion there are a lot of resources which you can review and evaluate eg. Simple Programmer: Should A Junior Programmer Work Remotely? Remember everyone is different, so take advise with a pinch of salt. Be brave and make many mistakes! Mistakes teach and make us who we are. So good luck in whatever you decide.

35,526 PointsThat Computer Science degree you mentioned is a fascinating thing... Actually, I know that Edx, Coursera, Udacity etc are some awesome websites for the task. But can you kindly mention which MOOC I should follow to get my computer science degree? Thanks again.

Treehouse Moderator 32,305 PointsI think you'd need to see what's out there, what they offer, and what suits you best. I haven't done any so I can't really recommend a specific one, but here's one I stumbled upon:
Open Source Society University - Computer Science
It puts together a 'path' with individual courses/subjects from various universities. It also references this article:
Obtaining a Thorough CS Background Online, which does a similar thing and notes the effort involved in each course.
Then for a more intensive learning program and bigger investment in your learning, there's of course the Treehouse Techdegree program.
