It's a guideline as where to start from and go to next, but if you feel like you want to skip ahead and come back thats certainly fine! I know i've jumped around quite a bit myself.

Happy coding :)

They are meant to be followed sequentially but its not required. When you go to a course page it will tell you if there are any prerequisite courses that you should take first. The Front End Web Development track would be a good fit for you starting out.

thanks Micah. I've actually gone right back to digital literacy. will follow on to front end after that I think.

No Problem Paul. That's a good idea to go through the digital literacy courses first. Its important to understand how computers and the internet works before diving into the code.

Generally, the tracks are most helpful when you follow them from the beginning to end, especially if the topic is something completely new.

But if you happen to want to refresh your knowledge on a topic and it's included in a track you already have some experience with, it's obviously more helpful to watch the videos pertaining to your specific needs.

So that's a very wishy washy answer but that's how I've been using it

Thanks Lauren
