6,510 PointsAre you guys working on a Backbone.JS class? The only similar site that has one is codeschool and they suck.
Please do it. I'm sure with all the talent on the Treehouse team someone knows Backbone.js. Even still, if you don't have a class in the works, what would you recommend to someone who needs to learn it relatively quickly?

43,038 PointsI personally used Code School as my first introduction to backbone and liked it, although I certainly prefer how Treehouse's structures their courses. Besides that I just worked on small and simple projects, focusing on learning how to use views in tandem with models and collections. It was not until I felt confident with the backbone view, model and collection that I looked into the router. Also, along the way, I would of course reference Backbone's api and search for answers or small tutorials when I had specific questions come up.
One thing that I am meaning to do is read this opensource e-book on Backbone development. This might actually be a good starting place to learn Backbone, but since I have not really looked too deeply into, I can not say.
Hope something helps, and good luck learning Backbone! :D
P.S. I would love for Treehouse to create a Backbone course too.
