JavaScript JavaScript Loops, Arrays and Objects Tracking Multiple Items with Arrays Two-Dimensional Arrays

As far as I can tell my javaScript is the same as in the video but I'm getting an error. Can anyone help me debug?

var playList = [ ['I Did It My Way', 'Frank Sinatra'] ['Respect', 'Arethra Franklin'], ['Imagine', 'John Lennon'], ['Born to Run', 'Bruce Sprinsteen'], ['Louie Louie', 'The Kingsmen'], [ 'Maybellene', 'Chuck Berry']

];

function print(message) { document.write(message); }

function printSongs( songs ) { var listHTML = '<ol>'; for ( var i = 0; i < songs.length; i += 1) { listHTML += '<li>' + songs[i][0] + ' by ' + songs[i][1] + '</li>'; } listHTML += '</ol>'; print(listHTML); }

printSongs(playList);

  • you might just miss a comma in your playList
var playList = [
    ['I Did It My Way', 'Frank Sinatra'],
    ['Respect', 'Arethra Franklin'],
    ['Imagine', 'John Lennon'],
    ['Born to Run', 'Bruce Sprinsteen'],
    ['Louie Louie', 'The Kingsmen'],
    ['Maybellene', 'Chuck Berry']
];

function print(message) {
    document.write(message);
}

function printSongs(songs) {
    var listHTML = '<ol>';
    for (var i = 0; i < songs.length; i += 1) {
        listHTML += '<li>' + songs[i][0] + ' by ' + songs[i][1] + '</li>';
    }
    listHTML += '</ol>';
    print(listHTML);
}

printSongs(playList);

That was it thank you!

Definitely easier to find mistakes when you format your code like that above :)
