Back END development; PHP, RUBY,PYTHON, JAVA..?! Everything?!

I surfed around in Google and there are many people said that Back end Development should learn PHP/PYTHON/JAVA and .NET.

So tell me WHICH Language should I start? Does Back Front Development need to learn php python ruby like everything "at once"?

I seriously don't know where to start. I just started Database but if im finished.. what's next?

Please give me tips and guide me

updated post: sorry I made you confuse I wrote Back front .. it should be Back End

When you say "Back Front Development" you mean:

Back-End Development? Front-End Development? Full-Stack Development?

Back-End Development! SORRY!

btw what is Full-Stack :O ..

If Back-End I'd say just learn what ever you want. You don't need to learn all of them.

Full-Stack is when you can do it all, both Front-End and Back-End

  • Ok so what is the most popular (standard) language I should pick? PHP? I have tried python.. is horrible.. shall I go instead Ruby?

  • Ok I see

thank you!

I'd personally go for either PHP, Python or Node.js (JavaScript)

ok! I go first PHP then Javascript.. then I will go Python if I needed.

There is no perfect answer here. However, I'd suggest focusing on JavaScript. As a developer, you'll need JavaScript undoubtedly. However, with the emergence of full stack development, learning JavaScript can be even more lucrative. I would say PHP is a must if this was say three, or even four years ago. However, it's clear that companies are looking for other options. JavaScript has a very bright future! Heck, you can even use it in embedded systems! Also, choosing to focus on JavaScript is a no lose situation. If full stack development was to lose demand somehow, JavaScript itself isn't going anywhere.

Awesome man! Thanks a lot! I think when I have finished my database I go for Html/CSS and Javascript and then php, sounds good?

I'd say it sounds good cause now you got a plan! :-D I just started learning PHP myself and I really like it :-D

awweesomeee :D
