Background color of fotter wont change completly

I think if you use just "footer" (no p), this will solve your problem, as you are otherwise selecting the paragraph text only. Also, make sure to use the word "footer" rather than fotter, and see if this helps.

i read your code and i think it is due to the spelling mistake in footer tag try to correct and check again ...
