Badges

So what exact badges would the companies (that Treehouse is stating) would be needed to get hired?

As of right now, it is really hard for me to just be learning full time because I have to pay for classes so a job is needed but I really dislike working in something that does not help me in what I wanna do (web dev., app dev.) I know it would be an excellent investment to keep learning so what are those companies stated.

If you do not have any idea what I am talking about, I saw the ad on tuts+.com

I think Treehouse is more of a starting point for getting the job you want. Perhaps in the future they might have some sort of accreditation or agreement with employers who want to participate, but as for now you would do best completing the sections most geared towards what you want to do.

Are you planning on front-end web development or backend? By the way you can learn more about that in this article.

Sometimes people get the idea that completing a course or college degree will land a position with a company, and there might be a few who would accept that you have minimal experience and only some training, but not always. My advice would be to further your education from Treehouse by creating projects, websites and maybe even a portfolio of your own to get the experience needed.

There is really no official completion scenario in this industry because technology and internet are constantly changing. You might want to check out how to build and maintain a portfolio on the Treehouse Blog.
