Ruby

bank_account.class # => BankAccount

What does this line of code mean in Ruby? why is it used after initializing an object?

bank_account = BankAccount.new("Rohit Reddy Kallem") bank_account.class # => BankAccount

1 Answer

You are creating a new instance of the class BankAccount. You are also passing in the param "Rohit Reddy Kallem" to the method new which looks like your name to me. To find where this param is being used, look at BankAccount#initialize.
