Best Hash function to use with phpMyAdmin?

I dont see either SHAKE or Argon2 so what would be the best option for people using phpMyAdmin. I am very fresh into this topic. Using wordpress if that gives any clarification.

Generally for Wordpress you would use the built-in hashing functions.

Depending on version, the WordPress password hasher uses the PHP native password hashing functions or implements the Portable PHP password hashing framework. For more details, check the wp-includes/class-phpass.php file of your distribution.
